About this course

This course covers coordinate transformations, series solutions of ordinary differential equations, Legendre, Bessel, Hermite and Laguerre functions, solutions of partial differential equations and an introduction to integral transforms. Applications to physical problems will be stressed. Cross-registered with (Physics & Astronomy) 74:472.
